"We first appointed Ashton House Design in 2006 after careful consideration of other design firms, to refurbish 12 Premier rooms. We liked the team from Ashton House Design led by Simon Bantock and believed they could produce a look that was traditional yet with a contemporary twist. We were very pleased with the result and more importantly our guests liked these rooms so much that we have used Ashton House since to refurbish our Entrance Hall and Reception area, Cocktail Bar, 12 new Deluxe rooms and bathrooms, major overhaul and creation of our Voyage Spa and most recently our main Lounge and Village Inn Pub attached to the hotel. They have worked closely with us to achieve the result we wanted at a price we had agreed on, working with tradesmen and professionals but always with a very particular eye for detail.
