The Brief
To decorate and furnish this gem of a period Cornish property. The house required an injection of colour and texture, to brighten, comfort and characterise the property. We worked closely with our client to bring about a transformation that would see the house fit for a stylish escape.

What we did
We humanised the house, blending contemporary design with Cornish country house. This is a home that appeals to a variety of paying guests and the owners themselves. A layering up of cooler floors and walls with rugs, textural wall coverings and soft upholstery has given warmth and a colourful palette to the rooms. Windows are dressed with billowing voiles, printed linens and tailored Roman blinds. Imposing mirrors and original artwork, through to tactile throws and scatter cushions, interesting tones and stand out glassware, there’s plenty to feast the eye on in this cavernous home.
