What we did
Ashton House Design were invited to re-design the tired public spaces and bedrooms. The brief - to create timeless interiors with a wow factor, to deliver a hotel experience that creates memorable theatre coupled with comfort and luxury.
The Result
We exploited the strength of the rooms - the scale and grandeur - and incorporated imposing features. This was an opportunity to employ furnishings often too bold for a domestic setting. These included bespoke mural wall coverings, scaled to suit, large overhead ceiling fans, gigantic moon-like pendants, improbably large convex mirrors and ethereal window treatments. In the reception, a colourful wall display of Panama hats sets a Riviera tone.
